Since I have received so many complaints because “Lancelot doesn’t follow/obey/… Plasma theme”, and I am tired of pointing the people to the FAQ, I decided to make the necessary files needed by Lancelot for all Plasma themes that ship with plasma-addons package.

@jrick No. They are not hard-coded (almost nothing in L is). I've just created files for those themes that L needs.
One note though - those files are shipped with L, and not with the themes, just like with the default one. (there is no point for someone who doesn't want to install L to have its theme files)
@frustphil You've got your answer. As far as the default menu icon goes, it exists, but nobody uses it really :) - the menus most of the time use the KDE logo.
Mark Yes, I'm a votary of PNG too, but I wanted to make the image as lightweight as I could. (I usually, when using jpeg, go for > 90% quality, and this time I lowered it to 50%).
@student Well, as you saw, the fact that the other people /could/ create the themes for L (it was possible since L's inception) had no effect, so I had to do it :)

You just ca't win. ;)
Not that I'm going to complain, it's a lovely app to use with or without highlights.
Unfortunately the KDE-unstable (trunk) version has disappeared from the SUSE servers for a while now. Just looking forward to its return.

Now, are these extra themes hard coded into Lancelot, or did you add the necessary files into these Plasma themes for Lancelot to use them?

You can replace the grail in your taskbar with another icon, but AFAIK you can't change it in the lower right hand corner of the menu.

But note: Sometimes JPEG just isn't the right tool for the job (compression artifacts). PNG would have been better here.

Now other people can skin it for you, and therefor you do not need to listen to all the people complaining about colors.
Thanks for a great app, with constant updates..
