Stripes: openSUSE

So, one of the first distros that contacted me related to branded Stripes was openSuse. So, this is one of the versions.

(there are ~7 in total, including the plain blue like the Debian one was)

Working on modified Stripes turned out to be rather gratifying. I didn’t expect the wallpaper to /work/ with different colours.

It even looks cool when two different colours are used for the background. (maybe I’ll do that for some other distro)

Hi Ivan. This is not related to your post, but anyway.
Toward KDE's way to 'Elegance', I think we have to show and use the best we have.
And the best menu we have, is Lancelot. Its much more usable. Looks better and is more intergrated.
(Of course thats relative and is a matter of prefrence, but wherever someone claims how bad kickoff is, i see people jump and suggest Lancelot. So i assume there are others who think the same)
AFAIR, the reason for it not being the default menu was that you didnt want it to be what everyone wants. You wanted it to be what *you* want.
But now, Lancelot's concept is almost stabilized. I assume its not going to change much.
Why dont you (and rest of plasma people) consider making it the default menu for 4.6?

At the moment, I'm a bit indifferent (which is an improvement from 'against' as before :) )
Technically, it is mature enough for something like that - it wouldn't bring additional instability to KDE Workspace.

Im not talking about your preference, Ivan :p
Im saying that making L default makes a difference for users.
However, I understand that you are not the one who should bring this topic up. You are the author and it would seem a little selfish if you ask replacing kickoff.
But the fact that you are indifference, means you are ok with that, which as you said is an improvement.
Maybe i should open a bug report regarding it.

Make one for Gentoo! (with two colours!) Honestly most of Gentoo's wallpapers really are an eyesore.

Obviously everyone would love one for their specific distro, so until then, how about a generic unbranded / KDE branded one that all KDE'ers can use? Seems like a solution that gives the most result for your limited time...
Any chance of releasing the sources? :P
